I go by the name Li, though formally I am Lilian (but not Lillian.)
My formative years were spent in the UK and I have now lived over half my life in the US. I have been privileged to work in both biomedical research and the arts.

I notice I am happiest when exploring things, making things, making photographs. Or dancing.

Photography is a joy, it is an obsession. It is a door to creativity, it is a wall to beat one’s head upon.  It is a call to travel the world, it reveals beauty in one's backyard.  It is outward seeking, it is inward-looking. It is an act of seeing, it is an act of sensing. It has limitless possibility.
